Visited Salzburg for the first time in December. The hotel is in an ideal location to walk around and see the sites. The hotel is older but maintained well. The room was a bit small, but considered normal by European standards. We had medium suitcases to maneuver around. The brunch was very good!

One of the most pleasant hotel experiences I've had in a while. There's two parking spots directly in front of the hotel to park while checking in. The host gave us clear direction for where to park after checking in, and he was so funny and so kind. We really enjoyed our check in conversation he was a joy to meet. The room was very clean and the view over the river was beautiful. The restaurant and roof top bar is the best place to enjoy a drink or meal. Highly recommend!

The Hotel Stein exceeded my expectations. Great location, beautiful room and large bathroom, and an incredible staff! The rooftop restaurant and bar are excellent with an incredible view and a super attentive staff. Harry, Julian, Sam and all the others helped make my four-night stay extra special. I felt like I was parting with friends when I left.

Great location in the heart of Salzburg. Great rooftop bar for a drink and views. Room was nice. Spacious, pretty view. Little noise, but nothing to keep you up.

Location was perfect for both sides of the river. Lovely, quiet hotel in the middle of city. Room was a nice size w/all needed amenities.
