Good hotel

We stayed in this hotel just for one night. Good location close to the Danube river, clean rooms and bathroom, very friendly staff, good breakfast, free parking on site, good Wi-Fi. A very good hotel, but not an excellent one, so I can only give 4 stars.

Good for a night before a long travelling to Western Europe

We reserved a family room for a night before our long travelling to the UK. It cost us 123 leva as I booked online. The interior is basic, but very convenient for a night stay. The shower was eighth next to the toilet and it got very slippery and wet when taking a shower. The staff was very friendly. The location is very good, just 10min from the border. Car park is free and just in front of the reception. There is no restaurant or a bar, just vending machine, so have this in mind. The receptionist told us to get something to eat from the restaurants around as close to the river lane. All in all good for one off.

It is good for a night

The location is very convenient and you can walk to Baba Vida fortress. It pretends to look as expensive hotel, but some basic stuff is not available. The breakfast is very basic. I recommend you to bring mosquito protection with you, because the existing window protection is not enough.

Good stay

Hotel is centrally located, about 5 minutes walk from the train/bus station. Small hotel. Rooms are fine compared to the city, but might not be up to the standard if compared to hotels in bigger cities. Rooms can be made toasty with the ACs present. TV was ok, many Bulgarian channels which I browsed through. Staff is helpful, like Eastern European helpful. Might have been easier if I spoke Bulgarian.
The restaurant was closed for the 3 days I was there, which was a bummer. There is a pizzeria round the corner so saved myself from hunger. Breakfast was fine, not much variation just the normal stuff. The shower in the bathroom though is a deadly weapon. Fine jet of water at very high speed and stings like a bullet.

Good transit hotel

We sleeped 1 night in Vidin, on our way to Greece. The hotel has a decent price for what is offering. The rooms are clean and the street is not noisy at all, as it is in front of the Vidin naval station, practically is
near to the Danube river.
