Added to our pilgrimage experience

Dated but clean, welcoming hotel
Perfect location in quiet but accessible area.
Few niggles but at 45€ a night, I'm not going to complain.
Room had good WiFi, comfy bed, clean towels & nice shower gel ( in dispenser) large window with shutters.
We asked for a double but only twin available, just pushed them together, easily sorted.
Free Car Parking too ( a real bonus)
10€ a day to park in Lourdes

It's not too late to do well!?

So how can I say not to be unpleasant... And to make it clear that qq interior works would be very useful to the hotelier so that all guests are happy and not only those who have the "best" rooms if not the most potable.
About the food? Beurk! Who are we kidding with croissants that taste like a few days old? Not to mention the deplorable service of waitresses who speak poorly to customers, in such vulgar language. We wonder whether we are in a Pension that welcomes Christians and pilgrims or whether we are in a barracks of sailors with little punishment!
So there is hope if the hotelier questions himself. Good hearing!

To flee

On a pilgrimage with young people serving the sick, we were not satisfied with our stay: deplorable welcome, lack of respect towards the group, unpleasant staff... smell of sewer in the bathroom, faulty light, cupboard that does not close, no listening and communication possible. And finally, we had to settle for nuggets and chips because we had expressed our dissatisfaction. As for comfort, dated living room, pillow repaired with tape. Ashamed.

Let's pray for a miracle to happen

To flee ! The hotel only has a good location! The rest…. Let's not talk about it and be careful not to humiliate the "boss" otherwise she will take revenge by giving 15-year-old teenagers serving the sick for a week chips and 4 nuggets as a meal! In a group of 30 young people, they are capable of making preferences and creating conflicts! How can a kid manage a hotel?!
My room remained open all week without the lock being changed, the disgusting smell in the bathrooms without opening and with a light that comes on once in 3 (or 4), the partitions as thick as the chips served at lunch, and certain staff who should also review the rules when dealing with customers because saying: “the other big mouth” to a 15 year old child is not tolerable….! Miracle, no more waste, in fact the uneaten green beans from lunch are recycled in the evening soup!!
Fortunately our young people brought some sunshine into our week because the hotel looked like the gray sky of our North.

Negative experience

Room booked for 2 and we find a triple room where the space was so limited that we couldn't open the wardrobe. , beds never made. Bathroom without placemats and without bubble bath, no one who spoke Italian. Non-existent Wi-Fi. Without air conditioning and the window without a net. Negative experience
