One of the best Budget hotel to stay with Great Views!

I think it's one of the best budget hotel to stay in Gulmarg. The views from the hotel rooms are excellent. Also, the Gulmarg market is just 2 min walk from this hotel!
Also, the benefit of this hotel is that, you can just walk to Gondola cable ride, which is just 1.2 km away. Also, the famous shiv shankar temple is walking distance.
All n all, it's great budget hotel to stay considering the hotel rates in the Gulmarg!

Very poor behaviour... AVOID!!!

We had a group of 30 people and our food was organized at this hotel.
FOOD- Worst, hospital food is better
SERVICE- Pathetic, the way they talk to guests is simply disgusting , they don't even serve a glass of water when asked
Behaviour- Inhuman, some of our guests (senior citizens) came 30min earlier and they simply refused to serve them food as the whole group had not arrived even after many requests by them
Please avoid this hotel at any cost

Gulmarg Sahara - Great Hotel with a view

I have been an avid skier. I have been going to Gulmarg for last 10 years, All this time I have been staying in Gulmarg Sahara.
This is the best hotel if you are looking for budget friendly options for a stay. This hotel has the best view of 'Afarwat' mountain from their rooms.
The food quality is excellent & they serve authentic Kashmiri food. Must try their original Kashmiri cuisine dishes.
The staff is very helpful, friendly & positive.
The manager 'Jahangir bhai' is the best person who makes everyone very comfortable & helps everyone in whatever they need. If you are thinking of going to Gulmarg, Sahara is a great option for stay.

gulmarg tour

Excellent hotel in gulmarg., especially its restaurant and the chef. Quality of food and service is very good. Location of Sahara hotel, at the gateway of Gulmarg is well reachable for all tourists. No parking issues, the market is also very close.

Best location with all amenities

Stayed for 2 night, they have done up the place nice and our room had a great view with new bedding and were provided with extra electric blanket.
The food was great as we wanted to try traditional wazwan. I woul highly recommend this place as it is located in the centre and we went for the walk which was the key
