Beautiful place

The ryokan is definitely very nice. We took the suite with private garden with dinner and breakfast included. It was worth it because both the room and the garden were absolutely gorgeous. Dinner and breakfast are held in the common room (too bad, we wish they were in the room) and are plentiful and traditional. The only flaw is that the bathroom was slightly cold.

Authentic!

Even though it was snowing when we arrived, we were amazed by the view of our garden from the room. The rooms and bathrooms were perfect too. The location is a small drive out of town but it’s worth it.

Never go in winter.

I don't know what the weather is like on a good day, but it was too cold to sleep at night in Kyoto, which was about 8-9 degrees low in January. We booked two nights and we checked out in one night and moved to another hostel. It was cold in our room, but I talked to a stranger checking out in the next room. In winter is completely glowing. I don't want to go twice. Stayed here on the first day of the trip and came cold and too troubled throughout the trip.. Ha.
Besides, the accommodation itself isn't bad. Remodel the bathroom and make it fine.

It was really good.

The room and the private garden were calm and I was able to spend a very relaxing time.
If there was one thing, I wished I had one more size of yukata that was small enough for men to wear.
