Hotel stay and great food

Helpful staff , very clean room and had a great sleep. Restaurant attached was great. Arman really went the extra mile to make sure all was in place and gave great service. When next in the area for work I will definitely revisit. Thanks for being good hosts.

Budget hotel so you don’t expect too much. Staff friendly and helpful. Walls paper thin, bed not comfortable. Room not very clean. Everything smelt slightly of greasy chips.

This property wad discussing, Refused to stay and the staff were extremely unhelpful and rude when I pointed out the many faults in the room, Bodily fluids all over the bed sheets, dirt mark on the walls and doors, No refund given and no option to offer clean room. Avoid at all costs

Room was tidy, clean and functional, but the facilities are pretty basic, however I knew this prior to booking so that was not a problem.
I found the staff friendly and helpful so that was pleasing, and the food in the restaurant although primarily Indian was very good.
My one real gripe was that the hand basin was extremely small, and the tap itself filled most of the opening for your hands, therefore it was difficult to just wash your face to freshen up, without getting water all over the floor.
Overall the hotel provided all I really needed for my 2 night stay, but I wouldn't recommend for longer visits.

Won't book again

Having read some of the flattering comments left on here I am beginning to wonder if I had stayed at a different establishment Our first impressions on arrival were, friendly staff, nice clean room, and somewhere to eat after a long journey. The curries we had were very mediocre and not the culinary delights mentioned beforehand, we didn’t eat there again. I found the shower room extremely cramped and could only just about get through the shower door. The shower controls were a bit over the top, nothing to tell you which way to turn for hotter or colder, my first attempt at a shower was cold no matter where the temperature was set. The beds looked good but were far from comfortable, bottled water was provided for the kettle but was never replenished, and neither of the beds were made up at any time, so I doubt the staff even entered the room to clean or do anything, in the week we stayed there. This is an old large house which has been converted to individual rooms on two floors, and I doubt there is any soundproofing between the floors or in the walls. Noise from upstairs was very annoying as was the T.V.’s from either side. Friday to Sunday nights were the worst, culminating with what sounded like a woman having an orgasm at about 11 pm, and again at 3 am. I was later informed that someone had a seizure, and that an an ambulance had been called, who am I to disagree, certainly didn’t sound like that to me. I could go on about noisy staff chattering outside our window late at night whilst having a fag, noisy air con units which in our case provided little change in temperature, unless you stood right under it. The weekend clientele made me wonder, if we were staying in some sort of bordello, what with the aforementioned episode. All in all I cannot foresee ever wanting to book this place again, We have learnt a lesson, and will look for a purpose built hotel not a converted house, there are plenty of alternatives in the area, some of which we have stayed at before. Finally I wasn’t at all impressed, and neither was my wife, with the salacious comments made by the staff member with the ginger beard, who suggested that if I had any problems I could speak with his mate, but if my wife had any she should contact him, not really appropriate in my opinion and it was not the only remark he made, very offensive little man.
