Morehead Manor One of My New Favorites

I had an amazing time staying at Morehead Manor. I needed a place to just relax and Morehead was that an so much more. From the moment I stepped out of my Uber and onto the Morehead property I felt safe and at peace. My room, The Tiger Suite, was beautiful and the bed was beyond comfortable. Monica and Daniel are lovely people and made me feel so welcome. The house sits in a beautiful walking community and is close to a lot of cool places to explore and grab a bite. Morehead Manor has officially made my Favorite Things list.

Warm and Welcoming Stay in Durham

We had a great stay at Morehead Manor. The owners are very warm and welcoming. They are extremely knowledgeable about the area and had lots of spot-on recommendations. They graciously and effortlessly served delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian breakfasts to our family each morning. In the evenings we looked forward to Daniel's scrumptious baked goods. We will definitely stay here again when in the area!

Relaxing retreat

Great experience…well kept and clean, comfy beds, great veggie frittata and fresh fruit for breakfast. Complimentary snacks and beverages available all night. Beautifully appointed rooms and decor. The inn keepers were engaging, accommodating and informative. Great value for a great time. Highly recommend a stay at the Morehead Manor!

Lovely stay at Morehead Manor

Enjoyed walking around Durham and really enjoyed my stay at Morehead Manor, a warm and elegant bed and breakfast not far from downtown. Owners Daniel and Monica Edwards made me feel welcome and comfortable. A roomy swing in the backyard gave me a spot to relax and zone out while admiring the landscape. The Edwards are accommodating hosts and ready to offer a hand. Daniel even dropped me off at the nearby Amtrak station to catch my morning train home. I hope to return to Durham and Morehead Manor soon.

Home Away From Home - Morehead Manor

Morehead Manor is a hidden treasure nestled near historic downtown Durham NC. The host Daniel and Monica Edwards are phenomenal host who really roll out the red carpet for their guests! Daniel taught me how to play Bocce ball one evening on the facilities court and I discovered that im a natural! The rooms are well suited for a great night's rest and the breakfast accommodations for me being vegan were exceptional! Whether you’re looking for a nice quiet escape from the daily grind or you’re looking to explore the wonderful Raleigh/Durham area, Morehead Manor is the place to stay!
