Beautiful place, making plans to return already! :)

Beautiful hotel, we loved it there and we will return! We stayed 2 nights only and the weather was not the best, is better to stay longer, min 5 nights I would suggest. Nice breakfast and letters in the morning with excursions and suggestions about what you can do that day. The hotel is very close to everything, my heart remained in Amrum this summer :)

Well-equipped hotel with friendly staff and unique breakfast buffet

A wonderful hotel with very friendly, competent staff, well-equipped rooms, in our case a four-bed apartment with 2 rooms, and a fully equipped kitchen, even with a dishwasher. The highlight for us was the absolutely unique breakfast buffet with a large selection of different, lovingly garnished dishes from hearty to vegetarian as well as individually prepared egg dishes. The staff were very friendly throughout, the attentive and friendly management had everything under control and prepared a pleasant start to the day for the guests. Every day there was a small information letter with weather data and all sorts of interesting facts, the likes of which we usually only know from cruises. We felt very well received on our weekend trip. Even the communication with the management during the booking process was very friendly and made us look forward to the vacation. It was no problem that we only wanted to stay two nights. If we travel to this beautiful island again, we will be happy to stay at the Hotel Südstrand again.

Really nice here! Top price/performance ratio.

Really nice little hotel with a great price/performance ratio. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, the breakfast is delicious and varied, the staff and manager are very accommodating, uncomplicated and friendly. You feel warmly welcomed here.
If I ever travel to Amrum again, I will book here again.

Best option for Amrum

The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. Really the best option for Amrum. The location is perfect and close to the ferry, beach, dunes, bakeries, supermarkets etc. At the same time it is very quiet. The breakfast is MEGA! Super tasty, fresh, tons of options and not boring. But the best thing about the hotel is the fantastic hosts and their wonderful staff. I don't want to sound cliche, but this hotel really made us feel at home and we were warmly welcomed as part of the family. We spent each evening enjoying the fantastic sunset and views of the sea and dunes over a glass of sparkling wine which was very attentively kept cold for us each day by the hosts.

Die Zimmer sind nicht riesig, aber mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Das Frühstück ist super. Das Personal ist sehr offen und freundlich.
