AVOID AT ALL COSTS IT'S A SCAM AND A HEALTH HAZARD!
I booked a special category room which is a suite but they gave me the lowest category that too in the adjoining hotel which they have misrepresented as center point.
No explanation given just that they don't have any other rooms available!! I asked for a refund or cancellation but was met with blank stares from the horrible reception guy and the general manager. Don't think they were able to understand English properly.
The room was filthy, no ventilation, washrooms were messy and not cleaned before, bed hard and unclean.
And to top it all- the AC didn't work for my entire stay and this is a health hazard as there's no ventilation. I was so suffocated that I left early just for some air!!
AVOID UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED OF 8K INR FOR ONE STAR FACILITIES AND SERVICE

Regarding your reservation, it was made for a Premium room, not a suite, and we did our best to provide you with the room type you had booked. Unfortunately, as the booking was made through a travel agency and not directly with us, we were unable to offer a direct refund or cancellation as per the agency's policies.
We acknowledge the issues you raised about the AC, and we sincerely apologize for the discomfort this caused. We did identify and resolve the technical issue with the air conditioning, and we appreciate your patience as we worked on this matter.

Great stay, great location, great hospitality
Very well located, in the center of Shillong.
We stayed here for 2 nights and the staff was extremely hospitable, excellent staff and food at the restaurant.
The rooms are cozy and clean with all basic amenities. There is also a lift to cater to senior citizens.
Highly recommend staying here in Shillong.
