Very nice place, in a good location. They provide breakfast 7-12 ( cereals, toast and jams) with water, coffee and tea all day long. They give you a towel and a big locker. Beds are big, private and comfy. Staff is nice and helpful.
They offer bike tours on Sundays, which I could not attend but wish they would rent those bikes out for the other days.

A nice bunk beds hostel in Ipoh town area, great location with affordable price. The accommodation has unique decor, with cozy, comfy and greenary environment. The guests are cheerful and friendly. Recommend to solo travellers.

An absolute amazing hostel, probably one of my favourite in SE asia.

The Brownstone hostel is amazing for anyone who is travelling as part of a group or by themselves. I stayed here with a couple of people I had met while travelling around SE Asia. The staff were very accommodating, took us around the Cameron Highlands on a private tour in their car, had a recommendations board and had the cutest kittens running around during our stay. Not once did I feel unsafe, lonely or bored within this hostel, and the staff could not have been nicer (especially our tour guide for the Cameron Highlands, Ming). This is by no means a party hostel; it is a very chill and relaxed place to stay, which is exactly what I was looking for. The beds were extremely comfy and spacious as well as the personal storage which was very secure and big enough for all of my stuff.

Horrible.

My experience was horrible. Room very bad smelled and staff confirm me that room bad smell. I dealed about canceled my accommodation with return my money with staff because is not was possible free room with private bathroom.
After communications via booking they wrote me that doesnt aprroved my cancel room and after my more questions doesnt answer me.
I dont recommend it !
